About the Mikvah Project

A mikvah is a cornerstone of Jewish community, with its importance valued even above the acquisition of a sacred Torah scroll.

The mikvah is an essential component of the observance of family purity, allowing for growth of the community. It is also an important resource for personal devotion and spiritual connection to our Creator. A mikvah allows for both the initiation of new disciples and completion of conversion to Judaism.

With the growth of our Beth Immanuel community comes a critical responsibility to address its spiritual needs. A life of family purity cannot exist without the water of a mikvah. Beth Immanuel is living without local access to this source of life, which entails the delay of spousal reunion because of Shabbat and Yom Tov observance, and often requires travel in poor weather and late at night to fulfill this mitzvah. Your generous donation to the Beth Immanuel Mikvah Campaign will help us meet that obligation, now and for generations to come.

As passionate followers of Yeshua, we understand the profound significance of immersing ourselves in the living waters, just as our ancestors did. Now, we need your generous support to ensure the continuation of this sacred practice.
